"But God, who comforts the downcast,
comforted us with the coming of Titus." 2 Corinthians 7: 6
Have you ever felt dejected? I already, several
times! There is no possibility of not feeling afflictions in the Christian
life; such as these were mentioned by Jesus in his teachings to the disciples
"These things have I spoken unto you, that
in me ye might have peace; in the world ye shall have afflictions, but be of
good cheer, I have overcome the world. " John 16:33
But God offers solace to the downcast. Through
the Holy Spirit, Our Father provides moments to have our heart strengthened,
until the calamities of life pass. And this experience can occur in many ways.
Here, in this verse, Paul was comforted with the arrival of Titus, who brought
news of the brethren of the Church of Corinth.
God wants to comfort you! And He will come
against it! Consolation does not always come the way we want, but it will
always come the way we need. And these experiences, however simple, are
significant in the formation of our faith!
Accept the consolation of God on this day!
God bless you!
