KEEP FAITH AT ANY SITUATION

"But let the lowly brother rejoice in his exaltation, And the rich in his affliction; for it shall pass away like the flower of the grass. " James 1: 9,10
The apostle James continues his reflection on the trials of life and how we should face them. Now he works on the issue of poverty and wealth. In both cases he uses contentment as a sign of gratitude: both in poverty and in wealth. It is easy to be proud when God blesses us with achievements in the material field, blessing us with a quiet life in this area.
However, He also exhorts us not to cling to material things and possible financial and patrimonial achievements in this life. We need to understand that human values are not the same as the Lord.
Often, some religious currents are completely mistaken when they preach material prosperity as a consequence of our faith and a life with God.
Poverty is neither an evil nor a consequence of our unbelief, for as Jesus said, "for the poor you have always with you" (John 12: 8).

In this way, it is not because of a lack of faith that there is no financial prosperity. Just as a material ascent in the believer's life can be seen as the result of living faith.
Although Paul asserts that the love of money is at the root of all evil, we can not be intolerant to the point that wealth and wealthy people are a source of sin.
Our greatest wealth must be the presence of Christ in our lives; our hope must be in the supply of God and our dignity must be in continuing firm in the faith that makes us overcome all our tribulations, including those of a financial nature.
